As an equestrian myself, I know how much the little things matter: the perfect expression, the apex of the stride or jump, that look your horse gives you.

I've been in the saddle since I was 4 years old, and have dabbled a bit in almost every aspect of the horse world from showing in the hunters and jumpers, playing in the dressage sandbox, to driving a cart in a town parade and managing a dude ranch, to trick-training my own dream horse.

One of my most vivid memories growing up was poring through magazines, calendars, horse books, you name it (this was pre-internet era...) and wanting to capture photographs like the pros. I am incredibly lucky to be able to follow that passion and fulfill a childhood dream career.
